Professional Experience

TARGET

At Target, I lead Creative Production as a Senior Manager. I support a team of Creative Producers who produce: photography, illustrations, AV and murals. Part of our work is to provide best in class photos, videos, and art for Target.com, in-store and on-air. I also lead Target’s DE&I initiatives, specifically, behind-the-camera to ensure we are tapping into the most robust current and potential talent pool of underrepresented creators and artists.

FREE THE WORK

At FREE THE WORK, I led Development and Donor Relations. FREE THE WORK is a global nonprofit initiative dedicated to identifying systemic inequalities in film, television, advertising, and media and finding actionable solutions to expand access for underrepresented creators. This mission is supported by FREE THE WORK's curated talent-discovery platform, offering a holistic approach to sourcing underrepresented talent. The work I was most proud of is implementing a successful donor relations strategy, raising almost two million dollars in year one, and leading pipeline programs that make the creative industry more equitable.

ARRAY

At Ava DuVernay’s ARRAY, I led community outreach and partnerships. I set a strategy for community engagement which included volunteerism programming. I worked with external partners and collaborators to bring social justice and equity-based educational materials to the masses. My work also consisted of liaising between local and international film and television communities to ARRAY Crew, ARRAY’s below-the-line database which I was part of the launch of. ARRAY’s core mission is to amplify underrepresented artists and creators.

Disney+

I was part of the select few people in the then organization that helped launch Disney+ in November 2019. I joined the team in June 2019. At Disney+, I built relationships amongst all internal business units of The Walt Disney Company to drive business objectives of attaining subscribers through exposure within Disney’s arsenal. I planned and executed high-profile marketing tactics such as stunts, fan events, and technological integrations. I also led external partnerships for Disney+, the most notable being the inaugural partnership with Verizon. Lastly, an area of focus for me was employee engagement and recognition, as that was a personal passion of mine.

Walt Disney Studios

At Walt Disney Studios, I led and built relationships amongst all internal business units of The Walt Disney Company to drive box office sales. Part of that was to execute major film rollouts, summits, and filmmaker meetings.
Planned and execute high-profile marketing efforts such as stunts, fan events, and screenings. I also liaised with promotional partners for all world premieres and red-carpet logistics. I functioned as a connective tissue of the Brand Strategy team for all: Lucasfilm, Marvel, Live- Action, Pixar, and Disney Animation films to internal and external partners.

Adventures by Disney

As one of the most fun jobs of my career, I led American Families on tour in France in the Summer of 2014 as an Adventure Guide. We had a preset itinerary taking us through: Normandy, Giverny, Versailles, Honfleur, Deauville, and of course, Paris.

As a Trip Manager, I lead domestic and international operations and logistics. I served as the leader of the Adventure Guides and the primary contact for vendors and partners.

Disney Parks

My first job at Disney was as a Ticket Seller at the front gate. I served many roles in Theme Park Operations, including Youth Education Series Facilitator, where I led Park Tours, which were tied to educational curricula for middle and high school-aged students. I was also in Guest Talent Programs, where I hosted guest groups performing at Disney Parks and was on the team for special events. My favorite job was probably Orientation Leader, taught Day 1 training for brand-new employees for a class called Traditions. I also was an Operations Manager leading our photography department, where I oversaw 300+ employees. I was on the inaugural operations team for the photography department that reimagined the operation to serve Disney guests better.
